In Toto Ed Prospectus
Brand communications
In Toto Ed Cambridge was officially awarded the status of Independent Special School by Ofsted in early 2026. To mark this significant milestone, we decided to hold our first-ever open event, welcoming in prospective parents and carers, local authority representatives, case work officers, teachers, headteachers, and SENCOs from local schools, and anyone else who wanted to learn more about this new and unique education setting.
Now a “real school”, we felt that In Toto Cambridge needed some “real marketing collateral”; starting with a prospectus.
Working with the Head of School, Cambridge and the Director of In Toto Ed, I created the prospectus to provide a snapshot into what makes this school different; from the founding story, to the teacher-student dynamic, to the physical space the school inhabits. I hired and briefed the photographer, and edited the photos in post-production to match our existing content library; I crafted the narrative and wrote the copy; and designed the layouts to reflect how the school and its students may not quite “fit the box” of a mainstream education setting.
The overall look and feel of the prospectus is light, airy, and image-heavy; the brief was to show, rather than tell, what a unique environment the Proprietors have created for their students.
The In Toto Group consists of three education provisions in London, Cambridge, and Peterborough. I have been working with them since their founding in 2022, when I created their branding and shortly after took on their marketing as their Fractional Communications Manager.
